Binary and non-binary computing.
I think binary computing is good for Earth for small tasks. It relies on a lot of heavy processing for a small amount of work.
Like the processing involved for a picture to appear on screen from a file, is like a billion bytes to just produce one picture which is about 1000 watts of power or a kilowatt.
That is very inefficient use of electricity for space. Or for more complex tasks.
When you think that a computer will consume about 1000 watts of power to run I think that is measured over the hour. So a 1000 Watt computer power supply is 1kilowatt/hour machine.
Well that is for that one task a lump of coal.
For that one hour to provide a picture on screen. And that really is any picture a desktop or anything the screen shows on screen for that hour, from RAM.
So really in space that would be a terrible waste. Or like I say for really technical work, very time consuming and energy consuming.
It really is what is heating the planet and wasting all our environmental resources.
And really we waste time doing meaningless tasks online or on our computers from boredom or poverty, inefficient use of time too, and our work isn't getting done.
I am supportive of these companies Apple, Microsoft and others but I like things to be ship shape so things work well, I don't like laws violated it is easy for a company like these to get ahead of themselves and get in trouble like a child being naughty they can get in trouble.
So for a non-binary machine.. my design, it is different and uses no power.
Imagine in space and you are burning power and your ship relies on it and you run out? Well if that happens you are stuffed. So domestic non-binary uses only a small amount for another reason, but the rest isn't dependant on fuel or power or electricity to run.
I can't really tell you any more than that.
The domestic machine when I get privacy and relaxation to work perfectly, which at the moment isn't viable in this environment.. but when I do, the computer will mainly be for creating media, like stories and movies and music and imagery, but you can type into it and make story books.. but what it is, is a way to make a world inside your room, like a fairly spacious bedroom, so it depends on us getting the money right for people so they can find the homes they want with the space to use this machine too.
But say you want a world like Space Wars and you design your movie, well the machine will have a printer and a little machine makes robots and makes a world for you to build, like your own technical construction set, it makes the parts you build it, then you play out stories to interact with.
It is a good way to learn about space and space travel and about even building cities and fantasy worlds.. it would be quite nice to then set up cameras and make your own movies and things.
It would all be automated or you could control certain characters with a controller.
So that is non-binary you can't do it with current binary systems, as far as I am concerned you can try with your model... but I prefer mine.
I think Lego TM is fantastic, but getting on a bit now, and really its too time consuming for my liking and finding parts and all that plastic... it was great but I want something new myself that isn't so square and clunky.
Mechano TM was good too, don't get me wrong all these are great for kids.. I want something a bit more sophisticated for me.
I think you could print out a Barbie or Ken doll TM and have it all smooth and walk around talking playing with Ken doing whatever and have your own world like the computer game The Sims TM.
I like the idea of stepping away from a screen, having it on screen but also in the real world too, not Virtual Reality TM.
Nothing more amazing and cute than kids enjoying play on their floor in their bedrooms.
Imagine this is like me or my child, surrounded by fairies flying around having fun.. in the sunshine.. in their room? Amazing.. than wearing a headset going dizzy and sick and stupid from pixel illness.
Don't have to steal my idea, do something you like or believe in.
Don't like the machine don't buy one.. but it is also a recycler, old bottles or glass or metal or plastics like jars or even cardboard.. it is a really good way to make something out of waste, you don't need to buy anything other than the computer, no upgrades no added expense.
If you don't buy products like that with packaging, you can probably just find things around like get things from friends to use.
I'll even include a disposal unit makes it back into soil to put as mulch in your garden or bin when you are finished playing.
I think for me I would like it as inexpensive to purchase as possible. I think about AUD $750 would be a fair price.
And really that's the only expense because it doesn't use very much power, you could or I could include a little solar charger.
I just need some private time to do a prototype. Register my patent. And then manufacture it ready for Christmas. Not this year though sorry.. 2025... isn't possible.
If you are inspired and want try and make something that's fine. Just don't steal from me.
