About Trigger my kelpie.
Trigger is really a Chinese wolf. In the natural habitat they are quite fierce like a wolf, but then when the see their owners are very happy and friendly.
Traditionally all the wolf breeds originated from Siberia, and some came down very low and went quite dark, working hard, they rounded up the animals very well, desiring to be workers.
But yeah, kelpies are named after the Scottish spirit of the water horse, but are Siberian Huskie Wolves, and migrated from there to China and became the Chinese Wolves.
And then of course before 1450 they migrated to Australia, were here before captain Cook.
I really love to make him feel comfortable and at home as much as possible here, he's not as active as he used to be, but later on might get another boost of energy and get young again. Just his testicles need healing up then he'll be good. He's only 12 so not a teenager yet and I hope lives with me for thousands of years. Even one day on the space station. He is a bit nervous out there yet. So, we only made the one trip.
He's the family dog, because Mum and Amanda took care of him while I was in Sydney which was about half his life so far.
