Caring for your pets.

Vets work hard no doubting it and full praise to them, but when you visit a regular vet surgery they will give you the cheapest solution to fix you pets problem, not really the best solution to treat your pets illness to recover they will try and fix the problem the most inexpensive way and least work. Usually....

Imagine if your pet required 24/7 around the clock work for 2 years from a vet, that could cost $100,000!!! or something!! They won't do that they will remove the problem with surgery or whatever stops the infection, maybe not treat the illness though.

So when your dogs eye puffs up and goes all yuck and green and mucussy, they will suggest the easiest solution remove the eye, but usually it means your dog will only live a short time after that. And if you really love your dog like I love my best mate Trigger, you won't want that.

But most people really see animals as expendable, but I don't I see they follow us through history as our companions and the better we treat them and get to know them, the closer we get to heaven.

So what I did with Trigger when he got a grass seed in his eye, the vet naturally wanted to remove his eye ball. I said please no, I will take care of him.

So I bathed his eye and kept him fed on good food and let him sleep and made sure he wasn't depressed, I took him camping because when your dog is depressed he won't heal up very well. The best medicine is the beach camping or river camping or lake or the bush away from human inventions. Back to nature for a while and have fun together. Relax and unwind.

And now I have begun his final treatment. I got some diluted eucalyptus oil with some stop itch and this natural pain killer cream, and I put some in a bowl and mixed it up with warm water, and gently with a face washer dribbled a bit in his eye. It acts like a natural anti-inflammatory, and I felt his pain pass away and he has been sleeping since very well. I will check it and give you the results, but the tube at the back of the eye, fills with goop, like mucus and it won't flush away. So he needs this now to flush the tube, now the grass seed has broken up and gone, otherwise his eye will just keep seeping green mucus and never get better. The tube needs flushing behind the eye.
