They can be best mates really. I mean if someone is the embodiment of the universe, like from doing work and he is willing to share his rewards with you...

If you are a scientist wouldn't it be greater to be the Superpower and see what it is and does, than just observe and be a nuisance watching it? Be your best person that's all it is.
